We are a group of young durian lovers. How can one not be, especially when we are living in a tropical island, surrounded by the king of fruits.
This was how the business was born. One day, one of the enthusiasts came up with this wild idea – to give up his stable career and try sourcing for good durians. He told his few kakis about this and his enthusiasm was infectious
They travelled from Johore to Melaka, even as far as East Malaysia and Kalimantan Indoneisa. From business owned to family owned durian plantations.
The Kakis spent months commiunicating with people. Learning and enriching their knowledge. Hands on praticing how to differentiate the different types of durians and the skill of opening it
However, it was not always a smooth journey. They lost their way in foreign land, encountered flat tyres and also rejection by some of the supplier and braving through the countless mosquito attacks. But through their ups and down, their friendship was strengthened.
